Installation without a refrigeration crew

The ready plug & play system installs quickly, with no split installation and no specialist technician.

Lower costs and zero F-gases

Natural R290 refrigerant and energy-efficient components cut bills and remove register obligations and emission charges.

Heat recovery (Waterloop)

The water condenser rejects heat outside the hall or into recovery (e.g. hot water) — lower air-conditioning costs and quieter operation.

Unbroken cold chain

Automatic hot gas defrost and condensate evaporation ensure stable, maintenance-free operation.

Product description

The monoblock for freezer cold rooms (R290, -25°C / -15°C) is a ready plug & play refrigeration system designed for ceiling mounting (drop-in, under the cold room ceiling). The entire circuit is integrated in a single casing, so installation comes down to fixing the unit and connecting the power supply — with no external condensing unit and no specialist refrigeration engineer.

The monoblock runs on natural, eco-friendly R290 refrigerant, which removes register obligations and lowers running costs. The unit is intended for use in covered spaces, at ambient temperatures of +5°C / +43°C (optionally -20°C / +43°C with a glycol circuit).

The Waterloop version is fitted with a water condenser and condensing-pressure control valves. Condensate evaporation uses waste heat through an AISI-316 coil, and the system allows heat recovery (e.g. for heating domestic water) and operation in installations with flow-balancing valves.

Configurator

Frequently asked questions

Which refrigerant does the MBP-KOS-L-SW use?

Natural R290 refrigerant (propane). It is both eco-friendly and economical — no F-gases means no register obligations and no emission charges.

Does installation require a specialist refrigeration crew?

No. It is a ready plug & play system — installation comes down to fixing the unit and connecting the power supply, with no work on the refrigeration circuit and no specialist technician. It usually takes less than an hour.

What temperature range does this unit cover?

The unit is designed to work in the -25°C / -20°C / -15°C range. The exact operating point and capacity depend on the volume and ambient conditions — we are happy to help you determine them.

What does the Waterloop version offer?

The Waterloop version uses a water condenser in a closed loop with waste heat recovery — for example to heat domestic hot water. Heat does not reach the hall, so air-conditioning costs fall and operation is quieter.

How is defrosting carried out?

Automatically, with hot gas, together with a condensate evaporation system. Operation is therefore stable and maintenance-free, with no manual defrosting.

How do I choose the right variant or capacity?

The easiest way is to use our configurator, which selects a model based on parameters (such as volume and operating conditions), or ask the AiCool assistant. You can also request an offer — our specialist will help you choose.

What is the lead time and availability?

In production — short lead time We also manufacture units to customer specification — orders from a single piece.

Does the unit hold the required certificates?

Capacity is stated in accordance with EN 12900. The CE declaration of conformity and hygiene certificate are available on request (some documents are in preparation).
