New — hybrid condensing system

HYBRID — air and plate condenser in a single unit

Home » Technology » Hybrid condensing system

The HYBRID refrigeration monoblock combines two ways of rejecting condensing heat: operation in a Waterloop circuit with a secondary medium and heat recovery, and conventional heat rejection through an air-cooled condenser. The system can be switched flexibly between modes — depending on the installation requirements, ambient conditions and the site's energy management strategy.

One unit, two operating modes

Integration with a glycol circuit fitted with a plate heat exchanger and an air-cooled condenser makes it possible to recover and reuse the generated thermal energy — or to reject it efficiently outside the building when heat recovery is not required.

The unit can be integrated with a BMS (central monitoring and control) and connected to a side air discharge system.

Air mode

Air mode

Condensing heat is rejected through the air-cooled condenser — as in a conventional monoblock. Ideal when heat recovery is not needed (for example in summer).

Waterloop mode (glycol)

Waterloop mode (glycol)

Heat passes through the plate exchanger into the water loop — for recovery (domestic hot water, heating) or rejection outside the building. Cold water in, hot water out.

Why HYBRID

Benefits of the HYBRID system

Operational flexibility

Two heat rejection methods in one unit with switching between them — a better match to actual operating conditions.

Cost efficiency

Installation is simpler and cheaper than systems with external condensing units — lower service and running costs.

Up to 30% higher efficiency

A hybrid monoblock can deliver up to 30% higher energy efficiency compared with conventional refrigeration systems.

Easy installation

Commissioning does not require certified refrigeration engineers — it is enough to connect a simple hydraulic circuit and the power supply.
